We will be having our NIGHT OF HOPE in the Spring of 2023 instead of Fall 2022. The theme will be “Learning to Lament: Crying Out to God with Hope.”

We all need hope. You need it. I need it. Our world needs it now more than ever. That’s why Reason for Hope and Promise Manor are partnering to provide you with our third annual NIGHT OF HOPE this Spring in Lynchburg, TN. Come let your hope be rekindled through an informative lecture, inspirational testimonies, and live concert.

Come experience songs of hope from Nashville singer/songwriters Channing Gillespie and friends.

This outdoor concert in the round will be on the beautiful Promise Manor lawn underneath the stars. Gathering around tables, with a food truck available, and after testimonies and a lecture to inform your mind, let the whole evening sink into your heart through these original songs of hope.

Channing Gillespie

Following heartfelt and impactful testimonies, Jacob Haywood will present a lecture entitled, “Learning to Lament: Crying Out to God with Hope .” Jacob is a PhD student and an expert on the topic of the problem of evil and suffering. The lecture component of NIGHT OF HOPE is important because our minds need to be informed in order for the truth of the goodness of God amidst our suffering to be able to sink down into our hearts.

There will be food available for you to purchase. We will have complimentary coffee, hot tea, and items available to make s’mores as you enjoy the hope-filled talks and music.

The beautiful and historic Promise Manor is an event home and labor of love. The White family have restored the 160 year old Greek Revival Green-Evans-Hudgens House to its natural beauty. The Night of Hope will be outside, on the grounds of this beautiful property.
